Strawberry? It looks like a mushroom to me

The press has been atwitter with the discovery of a new species of crab on Taiwan:

crab-strawbC-214_634x424Many commentators remarked that the beastie looked like a strawberry. As for me, I was more struck with its resemblance to Amanita muscaria, the psychoactive fly agaric mushroom:
