Tox Tunes #66: That Cat is High (The Ink Spots 1938)

The Ink Spots, an influential vocal group that hailed from Indianapolis and was popular in the 1930s and 40s, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.  This song obviously refers to being “high” from alcohol, but could just as easily refer to drugs such as cannabis.
